Been a long time

Finally finished up the Live CD project. Nothing much but customization. Have a look at my creation together with few friends. Someone has put up a review about it, on his blog. Thanks a million.

Other things that I had done since my last entry:

1. Found out there is indeed a tool to convert all my avis and mpegs to VCD in Linux. Hooray! Finally I can definitely dish out Windows. Will blog on that if I got time. For the meantime, have a look at here.

2. Found out Picasa from Google can run on Linux, finally. Thank you Google and Google Earth is on its way. Thanks for the Google Toolbar too. You guys rock. Hooray! The more support for Linux the merrier. Have a taste of it.
3. Remember idioms? Peribahasa in English? Something like "a needle in a hay stack" but you are not what that really means. Found out there is an online dictionary that can help you. Interesting. Will blog on this later as well. The thing is that not enough Bahasa Melayu resources to be found in the net. Pity.

4. Finally, experience installing RHEL 4.0. Hey I am a Fedora Core guy. At least I have some ideas on how to handle RHEL 4.0 if someone asked me. Hooray!

5. Got my hand dirty on CMS known Drupal. Experience is hard to come by if you do not personally try it out. Drupal is not as easy as I would it but very intuitive enough for me. Blog for it? Maybe.

6. Heard of tor? Well you may need it if you are browsing from behind a strict firewall like myself. Imagine getting block out of YM and IRC. Hmm the horror..:) Getting to know tor make it worthwhile. Blog on how to set it up? The guide is for Gentoo distro but it is applicable to any distro of your choice.

7. Maybe I should be looking at Speech Synthesizer? Using Linux of course. That should be fun. Watch this space.
